1 Day Juicing Cleanse

May 1 2014 I decided to do a 1 day juice cleanse with Garden of Flavor.

1st juice: Garden of Flavor Goji Pineapple

2nd juice: Garden of Flavor Cucumber Fresh. I really like this one – it has cucumber, celery, lemon and parsley. I will be making my own version of this come summertime. Think it’ll be good ala slushy style.
With all the liquid, restroom breaks are necessary, so as I run into Whole Foods because they have cleaner restrooms, I see the specials sign and today thru the 5th is a Vitamix Demonstration! Perfect timing! I love to see the demos and usually learn something. I like the demos at Whole Foods better than Costco because they use better ingredients.

3rd Juice: Garden of Flavor Mean Green done and I am getting hungry so gnawing on celery sticks. Juice has cucumber, celery, kale, romaine, spinach, lemon & parsley. But I might just be edgy because I swapped out my old modem at Comcast with a newer version and can’t connect to Internet. Can’t wait around for them to figure it out – have to get ready for work.

4th juice: Garden of Flavor White Knight has filtered water, raw organic cashew nuts, organic cinnamon, pure organic vanilla and agave nectar. This is awesome – like dessert! Also brought more celery and 1 banana to combat my moodiness.

5th juice: Garden of Flavor Turmeric Tonic has water, lemon, blue agave, turmeric, ginger root, mint, cayenne pepper and probiotics. Spicy and leaves a kick in the pants, Yum! Just one more to go when I get home from work!

Well, the wrong juices got in my cooler so my final juice for the night should have been juice White Knight. My fourth juice should have been Garden of Flavor Twisted Roots which has carrot, beet and lemon.

The cost is $44.95 for all 6 juices. It is roughly the same price for premade juices similar to what you’d get at Whole Foods Market. I bought these at Better Health and they have a store rewards card program.

I only had some moodiness a couple of times and celery really helped fight hunger. So, if you’re really on the go and don’t have time to juice, I think this is a good option.
